Charley Taylor grew up in Grand Prairie, and played football at Dalworth High School. After playing college football at Arizona State, he was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 1964. He would spend his career with Washington, and retire after the 1977 season. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1984. Although he lives in Virginia, he is honored in Grand Prairie with the Charley Taylor Recreation Center and ballfields.

Mr. Taylor will sign autographs and speak on his life and career.
