Award-winning photographer Don Smarto presents "Things Are Not What They Seem: A Photography Seminar" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, at the Grand Prairie Main Library.

In this entertaining and informative seminar, Smarto shares his knowledge of photography. People with knowledge of history, including WW II and the Cold War, will remember using some of the cameras Smarto shows during this seminar. From military cameras to CIA issue spy cameras, this is a unique presentation. Outside of a museum, you will see cameras rarely seen in public.

Smarto is a Master Judge for the Dallas Photography Club and has won International Awards for his photography. He was a cameraman for NBC News and his photos appear in many books.
This program is open to adults and teens.
