If you're reading this here, then you probably don't need a class on computer basics or beginning word processing, but maybe you know someone who does. The Main Library will present 2 free computer classes in August.

Wednesday, August 22
10:15 am to 11:45 am BASIC COMPUTERS This class is for absolute beginners. We will discuss the parts of the computer, how to turn it on, and how to use the mouse.

Thursday, August 23
10:15 am to 11:45 am BASIC WORD PROCESSING
This class will show you the basics of word processing using Microsoft WORD. You will learn to open a document, type in it, apply basic formatting, save, and close it.

Class size is limited, so make your reservations soon! Please sign up at the
Reference Desk (required). PLEASE inform us if you are unable to attend by calling

This month, we'll have 2 Family Film presentations at the Warmack Library.



August 11 3 pm

A NASA astronaut, forced to retire years earlier so he could save his family farm, has never give up his dream of space travel and looks to build his own rocket, despite the government's threats to stop him.
