The Friends of the Library Book Sale starts tonight with a members-only preview sale. Not a member? Join up for $10. The preview sale is form 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

After Tuesday, the sale is free and open to the general public.
Wednesday, April 11 - 10 am to 8 pm (note that the Library closes at 6 pm)
Thursday, April 12 - 10 am to 8 pm
Friday, April 13 - 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, April 14 - 9 am to 6 pm
Sunday, April 15 - 1 pm to 5 pm Sunday is Half Price Day!

Dallas Public Library - 25th Birthday Celebration. DPL is celebrating their anniversary with 25 hours (noon Friday, April 20 through 1 pm Saturday, April 21) of fun activities that include concerts, lectures, contests, scavenger hunts, storytimes, and movies. Check their website at www.dallaslibrary.org for more info.

Of interest to genealogists: On Friday, April 20, the Dallas Library Genealogy Dept. will have a sale of their duplicate materials, in order to buy new materials. The sale is from 6 pm to midnight (and they'll even throw in free parking)!
