Stop juggling cassettes and compact discs! Select the audiobooks you want from home, at any hour!

The Grand Prairie Libraries now subscribe to NetLibrary, making downloadable eAudiobooks available to library cardholders without charge.

Log into your account from home, and download audiobooks straight to your computer, and even transfer them to your mp3 player.

Stop by any Grand Prairie Library to create your Netlibrary account at http://www.netlibrary.org/.

Once you log in, you can see the available eAudiobooks. Soon, you will be able to search for eAudiobooks from the library catalog, but this is not functional yet.
Visit Netlibrary's help page for more information.

We've added several new online resources, so visit our Library page to try them out. For some, you may have to call a librarian (972-237-5701) for a password.

These are free to library cardholders. Remember, a card is free, and you don't have to be a Grand Prairie resident!

The AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) will be providing free tax help sessions beginning February 1. Sessions are Mondays and Fridays, from 11 am to 3 pm. They will continue through April 15. A limited number of forms will be available at the libraries next year. For a complete selection of forms, visit the I.R.S. page.
