Warmack Branch: Polar Express Party at 6 pm. Families are invited to come celebrate the favorite holiday book.

Wobble on down for a Pilgrim or Native American costume-making program at the Grand Prairie Memorial Library on Thursday, November 17th @ 5:00pm! We'll learn how to make costumes out of paper bags and add pilgrim hats or Native American headdresses!

Childrens' programs at the Libraries:
The next storytime at the Main Library will be Tuesday, October 25th.
The next storytime at the Warmack Branch will be on Wednesday, October 26.
"The World of World Book" uses our new World Book Encyclopedia to show kids in grades 3 & 4 how to research facts for fun or homework. Wednesday, October 19 at 5 pm. Main Library.
Drop by the Main Library for a family afternoon of spooky crafts. “Halloween Crafts” will be Sunday, October 30th, at 3pm. Open to children ages 12 and under.
Crafternoon at the Bowles Library will be at 7 pm on Monday, October 31.

Storytime at the Main Library is on Tuesday at 11 am. Sept. 20 & 27, Oct. 4.
Storytime at the Warmack Branch is at 10 am on Wednesday. Sept. 21 & 28, Oct. 5 & 12.
At each location, storytimes run for 4 consecutive weeks, then take a one-week break.

All libraries are offering a great program on Monday, December 13.
Choose from:
Catch the Gingerbread Man! Revisit the classic tale of the Gingerbread Man before beginning a search for him in the library. Using clues left behind, we will learn about different areas of the library that the Gingerbread Man likes to visit. A brief film and craft will conclude the program. Main Library, 7 pm.
Family Movie Night! They're cute and fluffy, but don't feed them after midnight! Bowles Branch, 6:30 pm.
Branch Library Readers' Guild! Tonight we will discuss Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger. Warmack Branch, 7 pm.

An edible book festival is a celebration of food and reading, held in schools and libraries worldwide. Our edible book festival will be held at the Main Library. "Books" rendered in food will be on display. Stop by to view the exhibit and cast your vote for the People's Choice award. Interested in submitting your own culinary creation?
