Bowles: Halo Tournament

Wednesday, Nov. 21:  Teen HALO XBOX Tournament 2-6 p.m at the Bowles Branch Library.  Teens 13 to 18 can register in person starting today to participate in the HALO XBOX 360 tournament!  Test your skills and prove you are the best SPARTAN.  Prizes awarded for the top three.  Tournament to be held in the Bowles Life Center Computer Lab, next door to the Bowles Life Center Branch Library.  Teens 13-18, only.  Limited space available, so register today!

Bowles' Teen Reading Challenge

Characters Wanted! Today starts the Teen Winter Reading Challenge at the Bowles Branch:  Teens 13 & up read and/or read and participate in 35 or more hours in order to earn their spot in the lock-in on January 18, and to be entered in the drawing for prizes!  Forms are available today (November 19, 2012) through January 5, 2013 and are DUE January 5.

Monster ID Program for Teen Read Week @ Bowles Library!




Join us at Bowles Library October 15- 20 
for Teen Read Week!  
Grab an entry form at the Information Desk, then head over to the Teen Area to make your guess at which book the monster came from!  Write down your answer next to the number on the sheet, and when finished, turn in the completed form to the information desk.  
Open to teens 13-18, contest ends October 20.  
Winners will be announced October 22.

When Willy Wonka decides to let five children into his chocolate factory, he decides to release five golden tickets in five separate chocolate bars, causing complete mayhem. The tickets start to be found, with the fifth going to a very special boy, called Charlie Bucket. With his Grandpa, Charlie joins the rest of the children to experience the most amazing factory ever. But not everything goes to plan within the factory.
