The Grand Prairie Library System has 3 book discussion groups that are always open to new members.
The Mystery Readers' Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at the Main Library. They read a variety of mystery novels, including cozies, American, British, psychological thrillers, and many more.
The Readers' Club meets on the fourth Monday of the month, at the Main Library. They discuss literary works. Past selections have included The Life of Pi, and The Goldern Globe.
The Betyt Warmack Readers' Guild meets at the Betty Warmack Library on the second Monday of each month. They discuss a variety of modern novels, such as The Great Train Robbery, and Girl With a Pearl Earring.
