The Main Library and the Betty Warmack Library will be showing a movie for adults (it's not an adult movie....let's just get that out of the way).
For licensing reasons, we can't advertise the title, but.....
Director/screenwriter George Clooney tells the story of legendary newscaster Edward R. Murrow, who confronted the anti-Communist witch-hunting of Sen. Joseph McCarthy, and emerged as a triumphant truth-seeker against the abuses of corporate and governmental power.
This movie will be shown at the Main Library at 1 pm on Friday, June 9. It will be shown at the Betty Warmack Branch at 7 pm on Thursday, June 29.
