The Main Library will present a free program on Purple Martins at 7 pm on Thursday, January 11. The Purple Martin is a migratory bird that makes its home in Texas between January and July. It lives exclusively in homes provided by people. The program will be presented by Mrs. Gisela Fregoe, a longtime "purple martin landlord".
