Kids Explore Learning with STEAM
Kids learn through fun at two new
STEAM programs at the Grand Prairie Libraries. STEAM is Science with a helping
of Art – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Fun activities each
month for kids will strengthen vocabulary, introduce concepts, and encourage
logical thinking
“Cool After School:K-3” is the
Warmack Branch Library’s new monthly STEAM program series for kids in
kindergarten through third grade. At our monthly meetings, we’ll include time
for a healthy snack, a multicultural story, and maybe even a special guest! The
sessions, which are free, are scheduled once a month from 4:15 to approximately
5 pm.
Join us on February 18 to learn
about “The Scientific Method”, featuring
the book “A Balloon for Isabel”, by Deborah Underwood.
Join us on March 18 to learn about
responsible pet care, with a special
guest.
The Warmack Branch Library is
located at 760 Bardin Rd. 972-237-5770.
